Long Form Improv 101
Listening, agreement and characters. The foundation every improviser needs.
Long form is the kind of improv where one suggestion turns into a whole show. This is where you build the foundation to do it.

Why take this class
Before you can turn one suggestion into a whole show, you need the skills every good improviser relies on. That's what 101 is for.
You'll learn to listen so closely that your scene partner's words become your best ideas, to say yes to what's happening and build on it, and to set up a believable base reality so the funny stuff has something to stand on. Then we get into finding what's funny in a scene and playing it.
Every session is mostly on your feet, with direct notes from the instructor. After the final class, you perform in a live grad show for friends, family and the public.
